Last Friday we went to the zoo again (a different one from last time!). It was a very cold day but we still had fun and I saw lots of animals I had never seen before. When we first got there there were some monkjack deer (bottom pic)roaming in the grounds right by our car and later we saw wallabies hopping around too! Even mummy liked seeing them as she said she had never seen a wallaby before! My favourite animals were the lemurs (second pic) as they were fun to watch, and also the baby elephant that kept slipping over in the mud made me laugh! Also the seals were great fun as we got to see them swim underwater. Mummy and Daddy said that I would've loved the penguins but I was having my afternoon nap by the time we got to them! I had a lovely day and mummy said we would go back there in the summer when it was nice enough to sit outside and have a picnic lunch. That evening we stopped at my Nanna's house and I walked two steps from Mummy to Nanna! I'm learning to do lots more now like getting my hands on the TV changer and pointing it at the TV and I also pick up the phone and say hello into it - which made everyone laugh the other weekend when I was playing with Uncle James' mobile phone!

We had a lovely week in Cornwall. I went to the beach; on coastal walks (I went in a rucksack on daddy's back!); a country park and visited some towns - Truro, St.Ives, Helston, and Newquay. The first beach I went to was Fistral Beach in Newquay. My great Aunty Vicky, Uncle James and Aunty Sam went surfing while me, mummy and daddy stayed on the beach and played in the sand. I loved the feel of the sand between my fingers and on my feet and I tried not to put it in my mouth as mummy told me not to! I'm looking forward to next year when I will be walking so I'll be able to run along the sand and paddle in the sea! We also went to the beach at Perranporth where Uncle James built some sand castles for me - next year I will make my own!
